Sheila Aminmadani / Outreach Coordinator
Sheila Aminmadani has worked in human rights, social justice and youth media fields for over seven years. In 2002, while working at a local human rights organization in Ghana, West Africa, she learned the importance of grassroots organizing and the need for committed activists. She feels passionately about advocating for women and girls’ rights and empowerment and has worked extensively in America and internationally towards these goals. Her appreciation of youth media started while managing the Marketing & Distribution and Community Engagement programs at the Educational Video Center. Sheila has a Masters degree in International Affairs from The New School and a BA in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
